Engineering

Our Engineering Explorations class is designed to encourage students to solve problems by collaborating with their peers, creating a plan, testing and improving the plan, and then sharing their solutions with the class. 

Students have the opportunity to participate in our Quest Academy STEM Fair. Using the Engineering Design Process, students identify an everyday problem and present their solutions visually, digitally, or by creating a prototype to a panel of judges. This experience provides an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their communication and problem-solving skills, learn from each other, and increase their awareness of and empathy for problems in their communities and around the world.
