Small Groups and the Learning Lab

In addition to daily WIN time, students participate in small group instruction with their teachers during the reading block (reading center time). Similar to WIN time instruction, teachers provide students with instruction that is tailored to their needs. This time is, in essence, an additional opportunity to practice and develop the skills necessary for continued growth based on the Science of Reading.

During this time, students also have access to Quest’s Learning Lab. This lab is staffed with individuals who are trained in the Science of Reading. They provide additional lessons and activities that further foster the development of reading skills that are necessary for student success.
