Biography

Hello! My name is Sara Garrett. I was raised in Clearfield, Utah and am currently living there today. I have been married for 23 years to Ryan Garrett. Together we have 5 children and they are my greatest joy. My oldest child is now married and my youngest is in elementary. I am a proud alumnus of Weber State University.

I love spending time outdoors, going on hikes, camping, riding horses, running and cycling. I am energetic and love to stay busy. Once my kids were old enough to be in school, I started working as a reading aid at Voyage academy. It was during this time as a reading aid that I developed my love and passion for teaching.

My goals as a teacher are to enthusiastically inspire students to achieve positive learning. I will seek to encourage students to use a growth mindset in order to increase a healthy work ethic. The focus of my classroom will be to help students become their very best at whatever level that might be. This will be my first time teaching the 4th grade and I couldn’t be more excited! I am looking forward to meeting all you!
